But let the [uncompromisingly] righteous be glad; let them be in high spirits and glory before God, yes, let them [jubilantly] rejoice! - Ps 68:3
Praises is the divine wheel that sets God in motion. If you want God to move, fuel His ears with His praises. If you are going to be complaining of what is not fixed up, trust that you get more frustrated.
You praise God better when it is not by compulsion but by act of devotion expressed with joy. If you joyfully give thanks to God, He may decide to (1) put a seal on your joy. (2) heal your heart (3) move on your behalf by His zeal to do you favour (4) establish a deal of unending prosperity with you.
Know that you can't drag God into answering your prayer but you can draw His entire divinity into your praise. So whenever sorrow wants to get you downcast, let joy have its way. Therefore, I pray the Lord fill your heart with joy for continuous praise to the honour of His Majesty, in Jesus name.
