When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;...Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! -Ps. 8:3,9
People who are mindful of God lose sight of their problems. They look on the bright side of their challenges. They choose not to keep a mental note of yesterday's failure because they can see God in their future. They fail to recycle regrets, discouragements, errors, misfortune of yesterday. They rather puzzle over the magnificence of God; His awesomeness and goodness in the land of the living.
When you think deep about God and His ways, your heart will catch fire with God's praise. Your soul will awake to give God honour and praise. The Psalmist had to enquire from his soul for reason for being disquiet. Ultimately, his soul switched on to give praise to God. When a man's soul is disquiet, he becomes predisposed to complaining rather to proclaiming God's goodness.
Deep thinkers are divine explorer who dig out many baskets of thanksgiving from their hearts in expression of gratitude to God. They explore their hearts to make adorable praises to God. They never lacked reasons to express praises to God even when they are hard pressed. While exploring, they weed out every obstruction that will sabotage their sense of gratitude. Are you a deep thinker? Think deep today and you will see countless reasons to praise God even when the sun goes down. May you never lack reasons to praise God in season and out of season in Jesus name.
