For he who speaks in another language speaks not to men, but to God; for no one understands; but in the Spirit he speaks mysteries. - I Corinthians 14:2 Speaking in tongues is not an addendum to your linguistic ability but is rather the divine gift which enables you to encrypt your dialogue with God. No consummate eavesdropper of this world can unravel the mysteries you express when you speak in tongues. The Bible says he who speaks in tongues, speaks to God and no man can clear up what he expresses in mysteries. Therefore, speaking in tongues helps you to enjoy UNCOMMON FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD, which is void of distraction and interruption. Speaking in tongues also UNLEASHES THE POWER OF GOD. As you speak in tongues, the power to subdue unauthorized thrones that are sitting pretty over the affairs of your life is unleashed. The devil himself trembles at a Christian who speaks in heavenly mysteries because it frustrates his mission to tear such one apart. More so, speaking in tongues takes you to a high altitude, through God's enabling power, far above principalities and powers. It is impossible to grope in the dark, not understanding God's purpose for your life if you speak to God frequently in a heavenly language. The divine ability on you to speak in tongues triggers God to UNVEIL HIS PLANS AND PURPOSE for your life expeditiously. Praying in the Spirit, as being put in another way, takes your prayer life to a different altitude which makes it difficult for the devil to impair your visibility into the supernatural. Do you speak in tongues? If not, the first step you need to take is to surrender your heart to Jesus and develope an incurable thirst for the power of the Holy Spirit. As you yield yourself to God, may you begin to operate on a pedestal that is too high for the devil to disconnect you from God's divine resources in Jesus name
