Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. - Psam 102:13
Recipients of God's favour aren't left in limbo when they expect God to come to their rescue. They arent left helpless and hopeless because they can count on God to spring up to their defense. If it happens that the devil has been having good time playing havoc with your joy, God is saying that your season of favour has come. It is such a season when God voluntarily takes the stage to turn the heat on your oppositions and melt away the presence of every obstacle to your miracle. King Jehoshaphat and the inhabitants of Judah had a sweet taste of victory when heaps of oppositions beyond their military strength proceeded against them. Because God's favour was at work, Judah had no cause to lift a finger to war against their host of enemies but rather had to lift up her voice in praises to God. The favour of God worked wonders with their victory over their enemies. What could have been an uphill battle became a walk in the pack because God's favour was at work, to distress and destroy their enemies.
Aside from enjoying God's intervention in your battle without doing the fighting, you could also enjoy God's mantle to pull down roadblocks to your destiny, when favour is at work. Elisha had a taste of favour when Elijah granted him his request for a double portion anointing. His request seemed like asking for the moon. However, because favour was at work in life, he wasn't shut up and had no cause to feel downcast. The mantle of God's power which he caught parted river Jordon and put him in the spotlight as a solution provider. In a similar manner, Joseph enjoyed the favour of the Lord when he got out of his prison garment to be dressed up in the mantle of honour. This reveals that God's favour doesn't leave a man below the curve. When God's favour is at work, it pulls a man out of the dungeon and set him in the ambiance and perimeter of royalty and affluence.
It is also important to note that a man that falls out of favour with God cannot stake a claim on God's treasury. He cannot access and live off the goodness of the Lord. His inability to draw on God's blessings and favour is often triggered by his choice to keep God at arms length and to blind himself to the way of righteousness. However, a man that relishes the pursuit of righteousness will find favour with God and would also gain unrestricted access to God's treasury. When the Israelites were leading up to leave Egypt, God favoured them before the Egyptians such that everything they requested of the Egyptians were granted to them. This shows that aside from fighting a man's battle, decking him up with the mantle of honour, God can also give him access to his divine entitlements. Living off God's blessings is the prerogative earmarked for sons of God. Then if not considered a son, he is a slave to sin and has no right to lay claim on God's treasury.
As God's desire to favour you, may He arise in His power to fight your battles, beautify you with His mantle and give you the keys to access your divine inheritance in Jesus name.
