...if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them] - Phil. 4:8
There is no situation beyond the redemptive power of God. God cannot be held back by circumstances, clauses or conditions that constraint the sons of men. I once read that there is no hopeless situation but people who think hopelessly. So the wisdom for living out each day is to have high hopes and not to sink in despair while going through trying times.
Abraham hoped against hope. He chose not to stagger at the promise of God. On the flip side, we see Mary and Martha who lost hope over the resurrection of their brother Lazarus. Until we mirror our challenges through the lens of the Spirit, we would not be able to see those challenges from God's perspective. Those who allow themselves to sink into despair and who also allow doubt to flood their hearts, often get their fingers burnt. Because they fail to wait for God's salvation while they get fast talked into following ungodly counsel.
Hope is a good breakfast but a bad supper. This underscores the truth painted in the scripture that, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick". However, because your time has come for a change, I pray every hopeless situation in your life become a spring of joy in Jesus name. Your season of waiting is over; henceforth, begin to manifest the joy of the Lord in Jesus name
