Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. -  Hebrew 10:23 If you are living apart from Christ, it’s an indication that you have invited a stranger into your life. Many things could constitute a stranger in the life of a man. When a man loses his communion with God, his life will attract agents of confusion, distraction and ungodliness. Such a man becomes well-disposed to those who will draw him apart from the way of holiness. However, a believer who chooses to cleave to Christ all the way becomes the center of divine attraction for angelic visitation and divine impartation. Holding fast to Jesus is what you need in order not to come to a state of helplessness in the time of need. Because those who hold fast to Jesus, reap in speedy answers to their prayers when they cry for help in the time of need. God prioritizes their needs and keeps them safe and sound from harm and evil plot of the devil. Also, when you hold fast to Jesus, your destiny will certainly be fast-tracked to the point of fulfilment. What stalls the progress, greatness and success of others becomes a stepping stone to your divine elevation. Ultimately, holding fast to Jesus helps you to keep your eye on the ball till you are crowned as a faithful servant; who is qualified to be counted as a first class citizen of heaven. However, you cannot hold fast to the Lord Jesus if you don’t allow sin and distractions to fall by the wayside. You cannot hold fast to the kingdom and bear up the weight of sin. Righteousness and worldliness are not run on the same pathway. The path of the righteous is like a shining light until he takes off on God’s everlasting wings into heaven. The path of the wicked seems right in his sight but lands him in eternal destruction. I pray as you choose to follow Jesus and hold fast to Him, you would not be a cast away in Jesus name
