"Being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh. - 2 Cor. 3:3
Knowing full well that Jesus is the Author of salvation, the question is, "Are you one of His scripts, written with the ink of God's Spirit?". Those who are God's letters have A STORY OF A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. Yesterday, they were hobnobbing with the devil, gratifying his desires and living in accord with the demands of fleshly lust. But when they were outlined to become a chapter in God's Book of salvation, they hung up on everything that has to do with devil. They get off a life of sin, so they could be counted as the righteousness of God.
Having begun a new relationship with God, true epistles of Christ often get in deeper with Christ in true fellowship. This reveals that Christians, who are truly God's letters, have a STORY OF A NEW FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD. They don't play fast and loose with God. They are committed to their new salvation experience and to grow their knowledge and friendship with God. If your friendship with Christ is taking a turn for the worse, it's either that you have been seduced from God's way or that you got caught up with other experiences they are whetting your appetite for the world. Know that Christians, who are counted as God's letters, don't falter in the friendship with God. So guard your friendship with God with genuine love. And if you aren't a friend of God, why not become one today.
Being God's letter also reveals that you are a stakeholder in God's kingdom and would have to exhibit this by working the work of Christ. Christians who are truly God's epistles live up to their divine mandate as soldiers of Christ. Put in a different way, they have a NEW STORY AS WORKMANSHIP WITH GOD. In Ephesians 2:10, Apostle Paul wrote, "We are God's workmanship created unto good works in Christ Jesus." Therefore, as God's letter, you are counted as a workman who is approved by God to exhibit stewardship in service unto God. As such, you cannot have your feet in both the camp of the devil and God's camp, if you truly want to exhibit faithfulness to God. So which side of the divide are you? If you want to have citizenship in Heaven, your name must be written in God's Book of Life today. Therefore, pray, "Lord Jesus, save my soul today; I acknowledge that I am a sinner; have mercy on me; wash me with your blood; make me your epistle till I see you in glory in Jesus name. Amen.
