Give, and (gifts) will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over…” Luke 6:38
Giving is both divine wisdom and weapon that helps you to overcome poverty. A man who refuses to give doesn’t have a shut eye but a shut heart. If you don’t give, you will soon grope in poverty. But with a generous heart, you can help to reduce or wipe out the poverty line in the society.
Every Christian who wants to experience a running over blessing needs to embrace the virtue of giving. Giving doesn’t discount your financial stability. It rather gives you the opportunity to compound the prosperity of your body, soul and spirit. Instead of experiencing a running over blessing, God is reversing His blessing in the lives of many because they have been conquered by greed.
Greed dilutes your financial strength and discredits your divine identity. Understand that to be Christ-like is also to demonstrate an unconditional commitment to a life of giving. Your blessings will run over if you are divinely ranked as a generous soldier of Christ. Don’t allow greed to obstruct your candidacy for God’s running over blessings. When your heart is open to the poor, you are next to the door of blessings. May you experience running over blessings as you give generously in Jesus name.
