OVERCOMING ANXIETY

Do not fret or have anxiety about anything… - Phil. 4:6 It is unhealthy for you to be hot and bothered about the future. You shouldn’t entertain fear and doubt about what the future holds for you. As long as you have a God who knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end, you need to have high hopes that all will be well. Going through each day in fear and trembling, gets you at a loss. Rather, be aspiring to achieve and overcome the obstacles, barriers and opposition which each day presents before you. The Israelites were sweating blood for the number of days during which they were defied by Goliath. They were tied up in knots as Goliath challenged the awesome power of the God of Israelite. They allowed Goliath to keep them on the edge and were unable to move against him. However, when David appeared on the scene of the battle, he aspired to know what had transpired and was full of vim and vigor to cut Goliath down to size. David had a different spirit and approached the fight with high hopes. Ultimately, he defeated Goliath with a landslide victory that left the entire Israel in great surprise. If you allow anxiety to get hold of you, your strength to fight the good fight of faith will be impaired and abated. You must be full of life and be ready to swing into action lest you get a nervous breakdown. With God on your side, know that have a promising and colourful tomorrow. Allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with life and inspiration through prayers and trust in God so you could subdue the spirit of fear which takes you nowhere in life. May the Lord empower you with the grace to aspire and soar to great height while He helps you to sink your worries and doubt into oblivion in Jesus name.
