GROW IN GRACE
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be all the glory now and forever, amen.” I Peter 3:18
It is disheartening that many Christians have frustrated and trampled the grace of God under their feet. Thankfully the grace of God is available in sufficient measure but some Christians have not treasured it for profitable and victorious living. It is a misconception to think or believe that you can continue in sin and enjoy uninterrupted grace; because the grace of God doesn’t give a believer the leeway to live a wayward life but rather to pursue righteousness and holiness. The grace of God doesn’t ratify and endorse the choice of self-gratification over a life of sacrifice and dedication to God.
The grace of God, being the manifold and overflowing stream of God’s love and favour to mankind, is meant to be received with gratitude and readiness to pursue the kingdom of God and its righteousness. When you expend your time to seek the face of God, the grace of God will be multiplied in your life to keep you firm and unstoppable in the Kingdom race.
When it becomes your pursuit and thirst to grow in the grace of God, God will not be weary in refreshing and renewing your strength to attain to your desired goal and mount up with wings like an eagle. Apostle Paul said, “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection…” (Phil 3:10). That was the earnest desire of someone who desired to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Until you desire to grow in the grace of God, God will not dispense you with daily divine provisions to keep you fit and profitable for His use. I pray the grace of God increase in your life as He renews your hunger for the knowledge of Him in Jesus name.
