Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. - Psalm 27:14

The sovereignty of the Lord God makes Him to do what He wants to do and whenever He wants to do it. So, it is of no value crossing swords with God when you are yet to see the actualisation of His word. Some Christians attempt to make war on God because it appears to them that He is breaching His covenant of faithfulness when He chooses not to spring up to their help at a time they expected help. Hence, they lose their patience, probably when they are at the edge of their breakthroughs. Impatience is a deal-breaker which would make the Lord God to short stop of sending help to you. Therefore, instead of throwing your patience overboard while thrusting God's help aside, rather throw God's name around as you eulogize Him. This would engender a speedy and mindblowing harvest of miracles in your life.

Exhibiting the spirit of patience gives the Lord God the latitude of time to work out a blessing that would outlive you. Many a times while God is working out the best for us, we fail to allow Him the latitude of time to complete and perfect our miracles. Putting God under a deadline doesn't mean God is laid back. Such attempt to turn up pressure on Him wouldn't assure you of His mindblowing blessings. Know that throwing your patience overboard gets the devil the chance to come onboard in your life, boss you around and leave you with nothing to boast about.

Impatience can either leave you with blessings that fall short of perfection, with no blessing at all or probably leave you with the end-product of a wrong choice. Are you at the threshold of losing your patience in waiting for the Lord's move in your life? Does it seem as if time is running against you? It is interesting to note that God can make up for your lost time and opportunities, in multiple fold. Had David failed to wait patiently on the Lord, he might have sidestepped God's salvation and fought his way to the throne as king over Israel, when he had the opportunity to kill King Saul, who was gunning for his life. When David allowed God the latitude of time to fight for him, God gave him rest from his pursuers and made him king over Israel, in place of King Saul. Ultimately, his kingdom was established. As you patiently wait upon the Lord, may your hope not be dashed as you begin to recover lost opportunities and favours in Jesus name.
