But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. - 2 Cor 12:9
The Christian life would be nothing out of the ordinary if the grace of God is not operational. A believer's pilgrimage would only be a frustrated adventure if he lacks the grace of God to keep him going like clockwork in the ultimate race. So it takes the grace of God to be strident, persistent and fervent. If you want to keep fit as a soldier of Christ, don’t neglect or frustrate the grace of God. This is because the strength of the Christian solider doesn’t diminish but is renewed like the eagles for greater exploits when he overflows with the grace of God.
It is not in character for God to withhold His grace from His people. God’s grace is elegant sufficiency to keep you fortified, formidable and fruitful in your work with God. Hence, a believer who doesn’t take advantage of the grace of God would certainly be spiritually destitute and fragile, lacking the divine stamina to pull down strongholds, possess his possessions and populate God’s kingdom through the power of the Spirit.
The abundant grace of God is the unlimited source of divine refreshing, renewal and ultimate source of revival you need for you to sustain your relevance in God's kingdom. However, powering down your prayer altar doesn’t pave the way for your spiritual fervency. Juggling godliness and worldliness will certainly deactivate and dry up God’s fountain of grace within your reach. If grace will be multiplied to overflowing, you need to distance yourself from sin, embrace the word of God and put on the whole armour of God. Are you destitute of God’s grace? Seek the Lord today for a refreshing outpour of His Spirit. May the grace of God be multiplied in your life to keep you on fire without retiring from God’s mandate for your life in Jesus name.
