And Simon (Peter) answered, Master, we toiled all night [exhaustingly] and caught nothing [in our nets]. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets [again]. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking - Luke 5:5-6
Setting your goals gives you a good start, pursuing your goals brings you into stardom. You cannot be in the spotlight by mere writing your goals but you can by taking calculated risk, which will help you breakthrough limitations. Anyone who prefers to play it safe all the time won't try his or her hands on challenging adventures that could pay big dividend. In turning your goals to accomplishment, you need to move out of your comfort zone and be resolved to hit the mark, regardless of limitations and false atmosphere of uncertainty that may encompass you.
In turning your goals to accomplishment, you need to PRIORITIZE your goals. You shouldn't allow unproductive tasks to gobble your time and energy. If you dissipate your time and energy pursuing mandate things at the expense of your goals, you will be putting the cart before before the house. Hence, you need to embrace and practice good priority, to help you to stay on top of your goals and accomplishment them in spades.
When it appears as if you are going nowhere with your goals, you need to be POSITIVE-MINDED. People who are positive-minded don't sign off at the edge of breakthrough. When it appears as if all the cards are stacked against them, they keep on pushing ahead with their goals without allowing room for discouragement. When they are tagged as failure, they untag failure mentality from their minds and perverse at accomplishing their goals, come rain or shine.
People who accomplish what others consider impossible PARTNER with God for divine assistance while they remain active player and implementer of God's expectation on their part. Partnership with God does not imply being idle or loafing away your time while God does all the work. If it were so, Jesus would have cast Peter's nets into the sea by Himself. When Peter's skill and professionalism failed him, it became obvious he needed divine assistance. With the grace and favour of God endorsed upon his skill, he had a net breaking catch of fishes beyond his wildest imagination. I pray that as you prioritize your goals, keep a positive mind and partner with God, may He help you to accomplish your goals with speed and in spades, in Jesus name.
