Isaiah 60:1

"“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you."
Amplified Bible

People who make a practice of living in the past are incapable of making progress in life. By virtue of their disposition, they shortchange themselves of the bliss of looking on the bright side of things. It's note worthy that regardless of what might have greased the skids for the failure of the past, you must willing to WIPE THE SLATE CLEAN. If you are experiencing repeated failed attempts towards reaching your goal and are allowing the thought of it to hang over you, you should reset the button with new hopes built on the resolution to never give up the fight. Wiping the slate clean only shows that you have not given up and that you are willing to start afresh and never to plunge into the distress, which past failures might have inspired.

Having wiped the slate clean, you can overcome the dominance by the past by WRITING A NEW STORY or TESTIMONIAL which you hope to share when your dream come through. Writing a new story helps you to get off the sad story of disappointment, regrets and failure. Accompanied by the new story is the fresh zeal and drive to pursuit your goal. Had the great inventors of this world allowed their past errors to come in the way of their goals, they would have failed to write a new story of the glory that awaits them down the road of success. It's never late to reset you mind with the new story of a new beginning that would surely culminate in your success secret.

It bears mentioning that one of the reasons why unsuccessful people keep recording failed attempts is because they fail to WALK THE EGGSHELL. You are most likely bound to make a repeat of the past if you make a practice of throwing caution to the wind. Living your life without taking account of key instructions may plunge you into a life of regret and disappointments. If you don't want to earn a reputation for living the life of misery and failure, you must be willing to live out God's instruction for your life. Walking contrary to His mandate for your life would only grease the skids for your failure. Hence, be careful to observe and to do His commands and your latter will surely be greater than your past
