For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion – Esther 4:14
Every purposeful adventure in life is time-bound. Jesus did not come to the earth to channel off His effort in endless and unproductive pursuits. He had a time-frame within which He needed to work before the night came when no man could work. So He made wise use of the window of opportunity He had to teach, preach and heal the sick.
If you fiddle away the precious time within which God expects you to launch out to the deep, you may return with empty harvest. If you sit idly by when others are breaking up their fallow grounds, you will certainly have nothing to rake in during the time of harvest. Before the time slips by, seek to engage yourself wisely in profitable adventure that will make you pass as a value-adding personality.
In the book of Esther, we could see that Queen Esther was predestinated to occupy a vantage position to reverse the death sentence that was pronounced on the Jews in Shushan. Her occupation of the throne wasn’t just for her fame but was significantly to frustrate the scheme of Haman, who wanted the Jews to be executed on frivolous grounds. Accordingly, she was spurred into action by her uncle, Mordecai, to see to the deliverance of the Jews lest she kick herself for her inaction to pitch in and help. In the end, Esther rose to the occasion and the Jews were preserved from destruction. Therefore, I pray that as you begin to pursue the mandate of God for your life in earnest, may you begin to rake in big dividends of honour, greatness and fulfillment in Jesus name
