As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. - John 9:4
Neglecting your purpose under the radar opens the door to a life of frustration and regret. You can't go high and find fulfilment in life if you flirt with the idea of pursuing God's purpose for your life. Allowing your purpose to slip through the cracks is setting your life off the track. This underscores the supremacy of purpose. Getting ahead in life cannot be divorced from strong alignment with purpose. Hence, it goes without saying that hitting the road to stardom begins with keeping your purpose as top of mind.
It is interesting to note that keeping your purpose as top of mind would ILLUMINATE your life with God's glory. Joseph got into the spotlight while in Egypt partly because he chose not to lose sight of God's purpose for his life. Admittedly, we can point to the priority of purpose as a success factor that made Joseph to emerge on the radar and as a ruler in a strange land.
Once purpose comes top of mind in your pursuit, it INFLUENCES your choice. When Joseph had the opportunity to pick and choose between pleasure and purpose, he was overwhelmed with the pursuit of purpose. It paid off for him. Instead of losing his virtue, he preferred to give away his mantle to the incurable enticer who wanted to keep him out of favour with God. Finally, when the pursuit of purpose is embraced on the front end, it INSPIRES you with hope, confidence and joy of accomplishment on the back end. Jesus chose not to circumvent the cross because He was eaten up with the joy that accompanies finishing strong. Pray: Lord help me to prioritise the pursuit of your purpose for my life in Jesus name.
