1 Corinthians 15:10

"But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was given to me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

Dr. Thomas Constable wrote, "No matter how much work we may do, unless God adds His grace (help), our work will fall short. And even though He provides grace, we must work diligently too, or our work will fall short." This submission lays stress on the import of grace. Without God's grace, we are unlikely to hit the mark of success and live up to expectations. While you may put in much time and efforts towards making a landmark impact, the absence of God's grace in your pursuit may only bring you within the inch of success. But when God's grace works hand in hand with your preparation, it takes you over and above your expectations.

One of the success secrets of Joseph was the presence of God's grace in his life. It stood him in good stead while in Potiphar's house as his personal assistant. The same grace endorsed his daily grind with the stamp of success. If you would put God first and keep Him always on the front end of your pursuit, you are bound to blossom forth into success.

On the flip side, in spite of the abundance of grace that is on tap for all God's children, most Christians still do not make most use of it. Making most use of God's grace begins with taking a bold step out of your comfort zone, to achieve what seems to be impossible. When you allow your fear to box you up, you lose the privilege of going up. The fear of failure can make you to trade off the seizure of grace to do exploits for a life of comfort in minor pursuit. However, when you exploit the grace of God in your pursuit, you are bound to exceed limits, break new grounds, conquer territories and surface in the spotlight. If David had holed up in fear of the terror of Goliath, he would have made a waste of God's grace to reduce Goliath to defeat. Allowing God's grace to go to waste culminates in the loss of making show-stopping impact. May the grace of God abound in your life to plunge you into circumference of reference as a great accomplisher in Jesus name.
