The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, You have dwelt long enough on this mountain. Turn and take up your journey and go to the hill country of the Amorites... - Deut. 1:6-7 Before you can experience a change of level, you must let go of the old and cleave to the new. You can’t be going round in circles and make giant strides at the same time. Whatever that is behind you should be kept behind so you don’t get it in the way of your progress. It is essential for you to keep doubt, fear, discouragement and past errors behind you, so you could reach forth for new opportunities. Because some people choose to live in the past, they allow regrets and disappointment to stand in the way of their progress and were unable to make headway in their endeavours. Hence, in order not to be bogged down, you should identify what constitute stumbling-blocks in the way of your progress and toss them aside. For you to make progress, you must be able to see beyond the present. Your ability to see beyond the end your nose will enable you to identify and snap at opportunities that lie ahead of you. Anyone who is visually impaired by distractions and mundane affections would be deficient of the foresight that will enable him to train his sights on promising opportunities. Because Abraham was able to see the Promised Land that was ahead of him, though at a distance, he became fueled with the desire and passion to possess and dwell it. Having discovered new opportunities to keep you ahead, it is essential for you to increase your focus and not become complacent. Having achieved a measure of breakthrough, you shouldn’t rest on your laurels. Rather desire to move from glory to glory, accomplishment to accomplishment and from one level of success to another. Until you maximize your potential and realize God’s purpose for your life, you will be nowhere near what God has predestinated for you. Hence, as you resolve to succeed against all odds, may you never experience retrogression but rather get on the radar and experience exponential advancement in Jesus name in Jesus name.
