Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. - 2 Peter 3:18
The easiest way to throw ignorance overboard is to grow and enrich your mental capacity. For instance, if you earnestly desire to keep ignorance of the Scripture at bay, you can't afford to be a lukewarm Christian, who is spiritually bankrupt of the word of God. If you are indecisive about personal growth, you would increase the odds of being sidestepped when people who enrich their minds are in high demand. Today, a cocktail of activities often place huge demand on our time. It therefore makes horse sense not to kill time with activities and pleasure that get you nowhere near your goal. Hence if you desire to reach your goal, then you must keep growing and never get to a point where you feel you have arrived.
People who take personal growth and development seriously cannot be kept under the radar because they are gold mine of information from whom others could draw insight and inspiration. It is important to note that if your perspectives on issues are often given a short shrift or sidestepped, it may potentially be linked to your limited knowledge about the subject matter. And if your goal is to build competencies in specific areas of interest, you won't make headway by giving a lifestyle of daily growth a brush aside. Therefore, it goes without saying that those who are keen about developing their competencies would certainly keep ignorance and mediocrity at bay.
Finally, it is irrefutable that those who keep on recycling stale information would certainly be left behind the curve in this fast moving world. If you want to get to the next level, you shouldn't require a pet talk to get you into full flight. Develop an incurable hunger for growth today. Resolve not to get caught up in a time warp while others are giving birth to innovative ways of doing things. As you double down in your effort to build up yourself, may you reach your goal faster than you could imagine in Jesus name.
